Process Journal #2

This week we were put into groups of 3 to make mash-up songs. My group consisted of Habiba and Yara. For our mash-up song we decided it would be Say My name by Destiny's Child and She Will Be Loved by Maroon 5. It was a great start to the mash-up, but then we thought bigger was better so we added the Drake verse of "What's my name" by Rihanna. I honestly think that our song will turn out to be the best in the class.

Reflection 1

Q: How will your background experience with music or technology help you with this course?

A: I think my background experience will help me tremendously with this course. That is because the more experience a person has with anything in life it makes them better at it; for example lets say a student who has been driving a car for 4 years enrols into drivers ed class, it will surely make him better at driving than the other students. Also, being experienced with technology and music will obviously give me a boost in this class seeing as Music Production is basically music from technology's point of view. Furthermore my background experience will help me in this course by giving me a boost and making me more capable of getting a 7 overall this year. In conclusion any experience I have with technology or music will help me get better grades in this class and a boost in the beginning of the course.
